H-1B visa restrictions by US President

Dear Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed paper I would like to draw the attention of Indian Government towards the extension of freezing H-1B, non-immigrant visas for another three months till ending March 2021 by outgoing US President Donald Trump. The H-1B is a visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, which allows US employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations. The H-1B visas allow US companies to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. Thousands of persons by virtue of this facility from India are employed by US technological companies as Indian companies as well as the Government fail to accommodate such talented youths. It would also impact a large number of Indian IT professionals seeking renewal of their H-1B visas. Trump administration has separated countless India-American families and had left countless people in doll drums. While there is no official statistics of how many Indian H-1B visa-holders have lost their jobs, it is believed to be substantial. The PM of India, who claims his personal deep friendship with Trump, should utilize his personal repo with Trump to provide a special relaxation for Indians seeking H-1B visa.
