POONCH: Government High School Sathra has been declared ‘Fit India’ School by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for being active in various fitness initiatives and campaigns. A certificate from the Ministry was received by the Headmaster of the School. To encourage the school management, Chairman BDC Sathra, Farida Choudhary visited the school and interacted with the staff members. Sarpanch Sathra, Fazal Hussain was Guest of Honour.Physical Education Teacher (PET) of the school, Rajinder Singh presented a detailed report of the fitness events held during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prominent among others present were Rekha Rani, Rakesh Luthra, Harmeet Kour, Zaheer-ud-Din and Esar Ali Naqvi. Vote of thanks was presented by Headmaster of the school.
