GDC Nowshera organises inter-college quiz competition

NOWSHERA: The Department of English Government Degree College Nowshera organised inter-college quiz competition on “Shakespeare A Man Not Of An Age But of All The Ages” on 8th of December 2020. A large number of students from different colleges participated in the quiz through online mode.
The main aim of the quiz was to revive the study of the great literary man Shakespeare whose work are still relevant in the present scenario. The quiz was organised by Sumit Kumar Khajuria and Madhu Bala (Department of English) under the overall supervision and guidance of the worthy principal of the college, Dr. Surinder Kumar. The students from the different colleges of J&K participated in the quiz with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students who secured above 75 per cent marks were awarded E-Certificates. Wahid Faiyaz Sofi of Amar Singh College Srinagar, Suhail of S.S.M College of Engineering Pattan Baramulla, Tasleema Habib of GDC Boys Sapore, Masarat Reyaz of G.D.C Bandipora and Akshay Bhasin of G.D.C Nowshera, were among the students who secured 100% marks in the quiz.
