Kalakote: As an extension to the on-going campaign for “Swachhata Abhiyan” (as initiated by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi) the NSS unit of GDC Kalakote in collaboration with EBSB under the Guidance of Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GDC Kalakote, conducted cleanliness drive in the college campus in commemoration to “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav”.Speaking on the event Dr. Romesh Gupta, Principal of the college, throws the light on the importance of the cleanliness which refers to the art of keeping our body, mind, house, work area and our surroundings clean. We must realize that keeping our surroundings and environment clean is as important as keeping our home clean. It is the responsibility of every individual to keep the public places clean. Priyanka, NSS Programme Officer also highlighted the importance of the cleanliness and motivate the students. Vote of thanks was presented by Sudesh Kumar (PTI), he thanked the organizer and especially Dr. Romesh Kr. Gupta, Principal, GDC Kalakote for his much needed motivation for organizing such types of events and invite all to join for light refreshment.On this occasion the faculty members and non-teaching staff were present include Prof. Anayat Ullah Khan, Manoj Kumar, Surbhi Sethi and Vishav Jeet Dutta.
