STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: To commemorate World Nature Conservation Day , Government College for Women (GCW), Bhagwati Nagar organised an online painting competition under the banner of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in collaboration with the Department of EVS.About 35 students of the college participated in the event highlighting the urgency to establish a healthy environment across the globe. Principal, Prof. Minnie Sharma applauded the efforts of the students and stressed on wise use of the earth and its resources for the lasting good of mankind. She made the students aware about conservation to care and protection of the natural resources so that they can be preserved for the future generations. Anjali Nanda of B.Com 4th semester, Dhara Kaul of B.Com, 2nd semester and Mishri of B.Com, 2nd semester were adjusted as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. The event was organised under the supervision of Prof. Nisha Bhagat and Dr. Mosmi Raina.
