SRINAGAR: District Ganderbal Volleyball Championship got underway at the district headquarters under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK).
The opening day of the event witnessed hectic schedule with four league round matches decided in men and two in women section.

2-0; Spartan Ganderbal beat Wokura Warriors 2-0; Eagle Volleyball Club beat Pathan Squad 2-1; Safapore Volleyball Club beat Delta Club 2-0. WOMEN: Ganderbal Volleyball Club beat Saloora Volleyball Club; GDC Ganderbal beat Allumni Volleyball Club.
