JAMMU: Game Changer XI won the opening match of the 40-over KCSC under-19 Tournament which commenced at the Cricket ground of KC Sports Club, here on Wednesday.
In the opening match, Game Changer XI defeated Vridhi Royals by seven wickets.
Earlier batting first after winning the toss, Vridhi Royals made 168 runs in 40 overs. Dikshant Kundal played a brilliant inning of 101 runs whereas Smarpit made 20 runs.
For Game Changer XI, Dhruv Parmar grabbed four important wickets whereas Kaniya and Sampark took two each.
Game Changer XI chased the target in 26.4 ove’s. Kawalpreet Singh made brilliant 74 runs while Musaif and Kanaiya made 47 and 21 runs respectively.
For bowling side, Gourav, Snoop and Archit took one wicket each.
Kawalpreet Singh (Sanam) was declared as Man of the Match and presented with trophy and gift voucher from Westside.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh, Dinesh Kumar and Vijay Raina.
