Fraud case solved, notorious fraudster arrested

Jammu: Police on Monday nabbed a fraudster who duped a man over providing visa.
As per details, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Janipur by one namely Shashi Singh, son of Punjab Singh, resident of Doda, after being cheated by a fraudster namely Manish Kumar, son of Gopal Singh Khuswaa, resident of New Abadi Ramgarh, Agra (UP) for providing visa and work permit in Malaysia and Macau, for which he paid a sum of Rs 3,80,000 to him.
On this, a case vide FIR No 13/20 under Section 420 of IPC was registered at Police station Janipur. After this, special teams of Police Station Janipur under guidance of SP City North P D Nitya were constituted. After hectic efforts, a team led by SHO Police Station Janipur Insp Gurmeet Singh arrested the accused from Chandigarh by using assistance of technical team coupled with human intelligence. Further investigation of the case is going on.
