JAMMU: Miran Sahib Police has taken Jitendra Singh alias Shalu and his accomplice Anil Singh alias Billa on four-day remand on Friday. After interrogation, the teams raided many places so that their companions and weapons can also be recovered. The police has raided various locations from night to morning so that weapons can be recovered. Police sources said that during interrogation, many things have came to fore, on which work is being done. Teams have been formed to investigate the cases, whose report is being taken directly by SSP. On Saturday, the police produced both of them in Court and took them on remand. Police was on manhunt to nab him, as Shalu had gone out of the state for a long time and came back a few days ago. In January at Prithvipur village of Miran Sahib, former Sarpanch Ranjit Singh alias Luga was attacked in his office by some gangsters, but Ranjit has a narrow escape.
