Fencing body condoles patron’s demise

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Fencing Association condoled the demise of its patron in chief, former Minister and MP, Madan Lal Sharma in a meeting held at fencing hall of the new indoor complex, MA Stadium, here.
Members paid rich tributes to the former associate, who remained part of the Association since its inception in 1991. They recalled the services of Madan Lal Sharma in popularising the game of fencing in Jammu and Kashmir.
A two minutes silence was observed to pray to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
The gathering also prayed for giving strength to family members of Madan Lal Sharma for bearing this irreparable loss.
The condolence meeting held under the presidentship of M,J Sharma and attended besides others by U,S Rahi, Bhanu Sharma, Rashid Ahmed Choudhary, M.M Sharma, Shajad A, Sanjay Gupta, Shotu Lal Sharma (Chief Coach) and Ujwal Gupta (international player).
