JAMMU: Hitting hard at Dr Farooq Abdullah who recently came out in support of Rohingyas advocating for humanely treatment to these illegal immigrants, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta said that NC patron never evoked humanity in case of West Pakistan Refugees (WPRs), Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) and others who despite being Indians faced discrimination in J&K for over seven decades and that too under the nose of ‘generous’ Abdullah dynasty. The former Deputy Chief Minister in a statement issued here on Tuesday counter claimed that if the Rohingyas deserve humanity in a foreign land what crime did Kashmiri Hindus, WPRs and Safaikaramchari community from Punjab committed that ‘humane face’ of Farooq Sahib refused to melt down in the last so many years and finally it was BJP government at the centre that provided long due rights to WPRs, and safaikaramcharis from Punjab residing in J&K.Responding to Farooq Abdullah’s remark on India being a signatory to UN refugee charter should act humanely in the Rohingyas’ matter, Kavinder said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre knows well what is right and what is wrong therefore Abdullah Sahib need not to worry or required to give sermons. He said that NC Patron’s affinity for the illegal immigrants is based on one and only factor which is known to everyone and his indifference towards aforesaid refugees from west Pakistan and other aboriginals is also obvious as these people do not qualify what Rohingyas do.Advocating for BJP getting majority in the next assembly elections in J&K, Kavinder said that recent DDC poll in which BJP emerged as the single largest party is testimony to the fact that people only trust this party and shall extend wholehearted support to ensure that BJP gets the driver seat to steer UT to new heights of development. He made it clear that the services rendered by the BJP members in J&K for restoring peace and pristine glory are remarkable and will help BJP to win over hearts and minds of people.
