JAMMU: The Ved Mandir Committee has said that, as per reports, some fake persons, mostly women are collecting donations on behalf of Ved Mandir or Bal-Niketan for construction of new building, etc. The Secretary, Ved Mandir Committee said that they have not authorised any person or group to collect donations on behalf of Ved Mandir. He cautioned all donors not to give any type of donation to such persons and if anyone approaches them for donation, they should immediately inform police. The Secretary further said that they would depute properly authorised representatives or committee members for collection of donation with printed receipt books.
