JAMMU: The Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu-Kashmir unit on Thursday appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir administration to execute the scheduled procedure of sending Rohingyas back to Myanmar soon after the High Court decision.
In a press release issued from the party’s state office, the J&K President Manish Sahni appealed to the Lt. Governor to carry out the process of deporting of Rohingyas from Jammu and Kashmir.
Sahni said that the deporting of Rohingyas would curb crimes to a large extent in Jammu and Kashmir.
Over the years, the Rohingya had become a serious threat to the internal security of Jammu and Kashmir, he said addoing that the Rohingya was found to be involved in a number of criminal incidents including theft in the city.
Sahni said that the Honorable High Court has pronounced its verdict and now the government should send them to their country by following due process at the earliest.
