EJAC for revocation of discriminatory SRO-324

JAMMU: J&K Employees Joint Action Committee led by Babu Hussain Malik, President J&K UT held a protest on Thursday against the discriminatory SRO-324 Article 226(2) of J&K Civil Service Rules issued by the Union Territory Government.
Speaking on the occasion, Babu Hussain Malik condemned this discriminatory order and demand immediate revocation of this impartial order.
The curtailment in retirement age from 60 to 48 years and period of service of government employees to 22 years for giving forcefully retirement is not genuine, he said adding that the employees are feeling insecure and suppressed due to this draconian order.
He also demanded removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre/amendment in SRO-333, notionally benefits from 01/1996 and monetary from 02/2003, restoration of two additional increments on clearing Secretariat Assistant Examination Course which has been wrongly stopped vide SRO-333, Regularization of Daily-Wagers/Casual Labourers/Contractual and adhoc basis employees, Redressing long pending issues of Non Gazzetted Accounts Employees, implementation of SRO 160 and SRO 272 should be for promotion avenues and others.

Rathore, Arjun Dass, Yashpal Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Sham Lal, Vikas Chander, Rajni Jamwal, Rakesh Dutta, Kamla Sharma, Mohd Sadiq, Rakesh Singh, Vikas Sharma, Madan Lal, Vijay Verma, Ashok Kumar, Bhopinder Singh, Girdhari Lal Chanda, Ashish Sharma, Yogh Raj, Manpor Bhat, Riaz Ahmad, Kamla Sharma, Anil Kesar, Vipan Gupta, Raj Singh and Kuldeep Singh Chib were also present.
