JAMMU: Aiming at reviving sports culture and refresh the field staff, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) has planned UT level inter-department sports meet from November 20. As per a circular, issued in this regard, the Director General (DG) DYSS, Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman has constituted various committees led by the district officers for the event to be hosted in Jammu next month.Since the orientation of the field staff underway at district level, the competitions shall be held in the five disciplines of cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho (both male and female) and kabaddi. Further, the head of the committees have been advised to suggest five-members for each for smooth conduct of the event.
