JAMMU: On 77th day of protest and 50th day of chain hunger strike, a delegation of Dharmarth Trust Employees Association met Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma and discussed their issues including demand of constitution of a Board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust on pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.Divisional Commissioner informed employees that he would take up matter with trust management to enhance their salary by 20 to 30 per cent and asked employees to call off ongoing strike. Rejecting the offer, the employees said that they are demanding constitution of shrine board of all temples and removal of present trust structure otherwise their agitation will continue peacefully. President of the Association, Vivek Bandral appealed to striking employees to remain united. Chief Spokesperson Th Karnail Chand appealed to all Hindu community for boycotting all those persons who sold Hindu temples land to non-Hindus in Valley and Jammu region.The persons who sat on hunger strike included Pt Rajesh Kumar, Pt Rakesh Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Yashpal, Ajay, Yashpal, Babu Bishamber, Kewal, Bablu Singh and Dinesh.Ex-General Secretary Pritam Sharma, Sunit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Subash, Pt Parshotam, Pt Brijmohan Sharma, Pt Om Parkash, Pt Rampal, Pt Balwant Shastri, Vimal Khajuria, Sat Paul, Pawan, Deepu, Rinku, Makhnu, Jivan, Bushan, Sonali, Renu, Anju, Sheetal, Sonika, Sukeshni, Rita Salathia, Rekha, Ritu Devi, Harbans Lal, Surjeet Singh Slathia, Surjeet Singh Jamwal, Parshotam Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Jagjeet Chand, Sahil Sharma, Pt Babu Bishambar Lal, Raj Kumari, Leela Devi, Sheetal, Ritu Rajput, Jyoti, Sheela Devi, Savita Jamwal, Kanchan, Rajni, Shobha, Nisha and Sonika were also present during the protest.
