Drug peddler nabbed with Charas

REASI: Police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler and recovered Charas from his possession. The arrested drug peddler is resident of Acharala and was involved in supplying and selling of drugs to youth of Mahore and adjoining areas.
From possession of accused, identified as Imran Ahmed, son of Barkatullah Khan, resident of Acharalla Mahore, 4 and half Challis and 4 balls, weighing 350 gm of a substance suspected to be cannabis (Charas) was recovered. A case vide FIR No 07/2021 under Sections 8 & 20 of NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Mahore. The recovery was made by SHO Mahore Insp Rattan Singh Rana assisted by PSI Jasbir Singh along with a team from Police Station Mahore under supervision of SDPO Mahore Khalid Ashraf DYSP and under the overall supervision of Addl SP Reasi Surjeet Bhagat.
