SRINAGAR: Acting tough against drug dealings, Police in Srinagar has arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
As per details, officers from Police Post Qamarwari arrested a person during patrolling at PC Depot Qamarwari Bund, who was identified as Younis Ahmad Matta, resident of Shah-e-Hamdan Colony Eidgah, Srinagar. On search, 400 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 267/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Parimpora and further investigation has been initiated.
