STATE TIMES NEWSUDHAMPUR: International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and teachers at Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur with great enthusiasm. Students from Grade IX to XII demonstrated various Asanas followed by Omkar chanting.Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing Asanas under the guidance of Patanjali certified Yog Guru Bansi Lal.The live session was attended by all the staffers and senior students from classes IX to XII.Alumni Akanksha Singh, Muskan Gupta and Suhana Manzoor from class X, Sidharth from class XII learn these Asanas in the presence of Yog Guru with COVID protocols.Managing Director of the School, Vivek Gupta himself attended whole yoga session to encourage the students and staffers to include yoga in their life as a task or duty.Celebration concluded with synchronized recitation of Shlokas and speech by Principal, Dr. Kunal Anand. He encouraged students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.
