DLSA organises awareness camp on drug abuse

Rajouri: Under the directions of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajouri and with the aid of District Social Welfare Department, the Police Administration Rajouri, the Chief Medical officer, Rajouri an awareness camp on Drug Abuse and De-Addiction under “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” was conducted at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Rajouri which was participated by approximately 250 students, the Principal GHSS, Rajouri Abdul Rouf Dar along with members of the teaching facility and other Staff, Zaheer Ahmed DYSP(DAR), Rajouri representing the police and Dr. Sumit Bakshi, Medical officer Block Manjakote, Panel Lawyers namely Mumtaz Choudhary, Shokat Ali, Tarun Basan, Advocates, and staff members along with 06 PLVs of DLSA Rajouri.
On the aforesaid topics all the participants highlighted the need for drug awareness, de-addiction and rehabilitation and the role of the police machinery as well.
