BHADARWAH: To educate the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) members about legal aspects of Panchayati Raj Act, District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Bhadarwah on Saturday organised a legal service awareness programme.The programme in which Sarpanchs, Panchs beside officials of Rural Development Department and members Of DLSA participated was held at Block Development office Bhadarwah.Retainer Lawyers and PLVs also attended the programme which was held under the chairmanship of Chairman DLSA, Principal District and session Judge Bhaderwah Ashok Kumar Shavan, while Sub judge Sushil Singh was guest of honor and the programme was presided by BDO Sourabh Sharma. On the occasion, legal awareness was given to the participants on different legal aspects of the Panchayat Raj Act by Chairman DLSA Ashok Kumar Shavan, Secretary Sushil Singh, Advocate Majid Malik and BDO Sourabh. “We have organised this programme for PRIs on the directions of High Court to educate people in general and PRI members in particular about the importance and benefits of Panchayati Raj Act,” said Chairman DLSA Ashok Kumar Shavan. All the speakers informed about activities of District Legal Services Authority, Bhadarwah and appealed to all participants to take maximum advantage of legal services provided by DLSA. The programme was conducted by Advocate Mohd Majid Malik.
