BHADARWAH: Varinder Razdan, President Sanatan Dharam Sabha Bhadarwah met Arjun Singh, Management Officer J&K Dharmarth Trust and discussed several issues to take forward the responsibility of ancient cultural heritage of Bhadarwah.The Sabha President presented the annual Holiday Calendar of 2021 to the management.Speaking on the occasion, Razdan appreciated the Dharmarth Trust in promoting the traditions, legacy and cultural ethos of the region. He said that J&K Dharmarth Trust has an unblemished record of promoting State’s heritage and ensuring public welfare without any prejudice on the basis of religion, region or ethnicity.Arun Singh expressed gratitude to the Sabha for showing their serious concern towards the cultural heritage of Bhadarwah and assured all possible support on behalf of the Trust.“In today’s world, youth are giving more importance to western culture. And this is happening by compulsion as right from primary education level, English language is given top priority. The people of Jammu region must realize that the time has come to join hands and start promoting Dogri language, culture and start re-working on preserving Dogra heritage,” he added.Singh also maintained that the spirit of selflessness and righteousness which is corner-stone of all religions is the need of the time and everyone in the State should follow the glorious ethos of J&K by keeping the flag of harmony and amity aloft.
