DG YSS inaugurates Taekwondo Academy at Khel Gaon Nagrota

JAMMU: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu inaugurated first ever Taekwondo Academy at Khel Gaon Nagota Jammu under the chairmanship of Director General, Youth Services & Sports, JK UT. In the inaugural function, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman Director General Youth Services & Sports (DG-YSS) was the Chief Guest and Sukhdev Raj DYSSO Jammu was the Guest of Honour. DG YSS was accompanied by Joint Director YSS Kashmir, Bashir Ahmad.
During the inaugural function, he said the Academy may run by the Department of Youth Services and Sports and most experienced International Referee/Coach shall provide coaching and training to the (All Age Group) Boys and Girls.
Atul Pangotra (NIS) Physical Education Teacher District Jammu has been nominated for the training and coaching.
Others present were Raj Daluja (Patron-in-chief, Volleyball Association of J&K), Kuldeep Handoo (Dhronacharya Awardee & Ambassador of Fit India Movement), along with officials of District Jammu, ZPEO, Dansal Veena Tickoo, Mohd Tariq, Yashpal Sharma PEM, B.K Bhat PEM, Ajay Wadhera PET, Naresh Kumar PET, Jyoti Kumari Jr Astt and Veena Sharma.
