KATHUA: A delegation of Plus-2 Incharge lecturers led by Amar Nath Thakur met Administrative Secretary, School Education Department B K Singh at civil secretariat Jammu and submitted two memorandums, one regarding regularisation of all Incharge Plus-2 lecturers and gazetted officers while other regarding implementation of court directions on seniority and other matters. The delegation informed the Secretary how from last 15 years the Incharge lecturers and gazetted officers have been victimised on one pretext or another.
The Secretary gave them a patient hearing and issued on spot instructions for speeding up the process besides identifying bottlenecks and directed for bringing the same to his notice so that necessary steps are taken to address them. He further directed to put on notice all officers and officials of department who do not submit and complete requirements as desired timely, and call them in office for getting all desired formalities completed.
The delegation thanked Secretary for understanding the plight of Incharge lecturers and assured him of all cooperation on behalf of incharge lecturers as and when needed.
Earlier, the delegation met officers in office of Advisor Bhatnagar, Addl Secretary Law SED and Nodal Officer HRM cell. The delegation included Showkat Wani (Kulgam), Daleep Kumar, Ashwani Kumar (Retired Incharge lecturer) and Kali Dass.
