UDHAMPUR: In phase-II of ongoing DDC elections, people came out in large number to exercise their franchise in Chenani Kud constituency for overall development of the area. It was stated by senior BJP leaders, Adv Amrik Singh and Surjit Singh, who were deputed by party to monitor election process in the constituency.The senior party leaders further said that people, including men, women and elderly, from all sections of society, participated in DDC elections with great zeal, which are being held for the first time in J&K UT after abrogation of Articles 370 & 35A. “We hope that people have supported and voted in favour of party, as BJP with its motto ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, is the only party which believe in equitable development of all. The success of BJP in the DDC elections will further strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whose leadership the country is moving ahead on path of development,” they asserted.
