VIJAYPUR : A large number of daily wagers of Power Development Department (PDD) held a meeting at Vijaypur in which they highlighted their demands and appealed to the government to regularise their services.
The speakers said that they have rendered more than seven years service in the department and have become eligible to be regularised in accordance with the laid down policy of the government but the government has not taken any step in this direction.
Meanwhile a deputation of the daily wagers met the Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur and handed him over the memorandum of demands addressed to the Deputy Chief Minister holding the charge of Power Development Department, to consider their genuine demands and take immediate action to regularise the daily wagers. Prominent among those present on this occasion include Vikas Singh, Bharat Singh, Darshan Kumar, Kewal Kumar, Rattan Lal, Rajinder Singh, Vijay Sharma, Joginder Singh, Bharat Ram and Jasbir Singh.
