JAMMU: All Jammu based CRPF units and establishments are observing Vigilance Awareness Week with theme ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India)’ from October 27, 2020 to November 2, 2020. The officers and personnel of CRPF in all establishments pledged to follow probity and rule of law in all walks of life, neither to take nor offer bribe, to perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner and be accountable to all their actions, to take decisions objectively and impartially, to act in public interest, to lead by example exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour and to report any incident of corruption to appropriate agency. In Group Centre, Bantalab, the observance of the vigilance awareness week commenced with the integrity pledge administrated by Rajender Prasad, DIGP, GC Bantalab to all officers and men and educate the officers and men about corruption related practices and also educating them how to report them. During this week, Group Centre, Bantalab is conducting various activities to create awareness among officers and Jawans to promote and uphold ethical values, which helps in developing a sustainable culture of honesty and integrity. Others present on the occasion included P C Gupta Commandant, Sumit Verma Dy Comdt., Rajesh Kumar Dy Comdt, GC Bantalab.
