JAMMU: In a petition filed by inhabitants of village Kharian, alleging that a woman is trying to encroach upon graveyard/ Wakf property in Village Kharian Tehsil R S Pura District Jammu, Justice Rajnesh Oswal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Irfan directed DC Jammu & Ors to ensure that graveyard existing on land measuring 6 Kanals 16 Marlas comprising Khasra No. 382 situated at Village Kharian, R S Pura is not encroached by anyone.In the petition, filed by inhabitants of Village Kharian, it has been stated that graveyard exists on land comprising Khasra No. 382 measuring 6 Kanals 16 Marlas situated at Village Kharian, R S Pura and is being used as graveyard from the time immemorial. It is further contended that private respondent No. 9 is encroaching graveyard and despite approaching administration, nothing has been done till date in the matter.
