Complete lockdown observed in Poonch, markets remained closed

POONCH: Due to Rapid increase in COVID cases complete lockdown was observed in Poonch district with the rest of state. Traffic remained suspended during the day and markets were remained closed. District police strictly imposed lockdown and took action against the violators. In a statement a police official said that those who found violating the COVID SOPs as well as COVID prevention laws will be dealt with iron hands. District administration through a vehicle which announced the masses about harmful effects of COVID. Zamood Ahmed khan Nodal Officer Covid 19 Poonch while sharing details of COVID cases said that there is a rapid increase in cases as there is 87 New COVID positive cases in which 19 from Haveli, 15 from Mandi, 32 from Surankote and 21 from Mendhar during last 24 hours while 58 were recovered today.
