GANDERBAL: Commissioner, Survey and Land Records (S&LR), Shahnawaz Bukhari, on Tuesday visited Ganderbal to review functioning of Revenue Department, progress on writing of Jamabandies.On the occasion, threadbare discussion was held on computerisation of Land Records including Scanning of Revenue Documents/Maps, Data Entry of updated Jamabandies, progress of writing of Jamab- andies.ACR, briefed the Commissioner about the functioning of the department, progress of writing of Jamabandies of all villages of the district and informed the Chair that out of 136 Jammabandies, 131 Jammabandies have been completed.The Commissioner instructed the concerned to put their sincere efforts in providing quality services and complete all the pend- ing Jammabandies upto 31 December, 2020.He said that the digitisation of land records will remove obstacles and hardships faced by the common public.The meeting among others was attended by ACR, Baseer Ahmad, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, SQ with DC Ganderbal, Girdawars and Patwaris.
