City FC wins Football opener 4-1

JAMMU: City Football Club made it a 4-1 against Christian United FC in the inaugural match of the 14th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, organised by the J&K Christian Welfare Association, at GGM Science College ground, here on Thursday. Vishal Sharma (25th) and Samad (23rd, 42nd and 63rd) minutes were the scorers from winning side while Rahul reduced the margin from Christian United netting the ball for lone goal for the team.
Today’s match officiated by the technical penal comprising Ramesh Chander, Mohinder Kalsi, Aman Kumar and Raju Khokhar.
Earlier, the event was declared open by the Chief Guest, Principal GGM Science College, Prof. Ravinder Tiku in the presence of Paster Lovy, Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Shahzadi, Narinder Gupta, David Masih, Rajesh Sumbria, Kamaljeet Singh, Moon Stephan, Elizha Sotra and Yusuf Don.
Feastus Sotra is Organising Secretary of the tournament.
