UDHAMPUR: Police on Wednesday cracked Chenani murder case and arrested two absconding accused from Pathankot in Punjab. As per details, on December 13, 2020, an information was received at Police Station Chenani that body of a person namely Vijay Kumar, son of Sai Das, resident of Lower Mada Tehsil Chenani, was lying in Mada area. In this regard, a case vide FIR no. 135/20 under sections 302, 307, 458, 120B & 323 of IPC was registered at Police Station Chenani and investigation started. A police party led by SHO Chenani Insp Pushpinder Singh Chib under supervision of SDPO Chenani raided several places and after hectic efforts arrested two accused namely Parshotam, son of Jagan Nath, resident of Chunti, Tehsil Udhampur and Radha Devi, wife of Gurdeep Singh (brother of deceased), resident of Lower Mada Chenani, from Pathankot, where they were hiding in a Sarai. The other co-accused have also been identified and efforts are on to nab them.
