JAMMU: Champions Cricket Academy Chandigarh defeated Jammu Vishal Cricket Club by seven wickets in the ongoing Under-17 Christmas Cricket Championship at Landran Cricket Ground (Kharar) Mohali in Chandigarh.
As per report reaching here, batting first after winning the toss, Vishal Cricket Club scored 177 runs for the loss of eight 8 in the 40 overs. Achintiya Khajuria and Rohan Gill were the main scorers with 45 and 41 runs respectively while Vanshaj and Arnav Gupta contributed 26 and 21 runs respectively to the total.
For bowling side, Jatin claimed three wickets while S. Jamwal and Harsh Saini took one wicket each.
In reply , Champions Cricket Academy chased the target in 30 overs for the loss of three wickets. Jeevanjot played a match winning inning of 70 runs studded with eight boundaries and a six. Harsh Saini also played well and scored 47 runs and Aryan Verma added 21 to the total.
For bowling side, Krishna, Dhruv and Vansh Khadyal took one wicket each. For his match winning knock, Jeevanjot was declared as Man of the Match.
