Centre for Women Studies GDC Kathua organises poster-making competition



KATHUA: In an effort to spread awareness in the society regarding the omicron, Centre for Women Studies GDC Kathua, organised a poster making competition on the theme “Covid 19 Appropriate Behaviour” in the college campus.
More than thirty five students took part in the competition which was organised under the supervision of Dr Rachna, Director CWS Govt Degree college Kathua.
Prof. Rajkiran, Principal GDC Kathua, was the Chief guest in this workshop.
In her address she congratulated the students and applauded the efforts of students for taking part in this event and also motivation the students to spread this knowledge among the masses.
She also appreciated the working of CWS for organizing such program in the college campus. In her address she also give stress to organise such type of workshops more and more and also touch the various burning issues that students may be able to express their views in the shape of posters as well as lectures.
Dr Rachna welcomed the Principal for sparing her valuable time for this workshop. She also welcomed the judges in this event.
Puneet Verma and Sakshi Chib, got first prize and second position was clinched by Aishwarya Singh and Palak Chambyal while third prize was clinched by Sheetal and Amanjot.
Other participants were acknowledged with participation certificate.
The event was judged by Prof Ritu Bhagat, HOD Education, Dr.Amita Dua, Deptt of Physic, Dr Poonam Kumari from Department of Dogri.
