JAMMU: A CBI team on Friday conducted surprise checking at Parcel Department of Jammu Railway Station. The CBI officers started investigating records and goods, in the department. Sources said that it was reported to CBI that there are a lot of irregularities in goods coming from different states of the country through railways.According to information received from railway, the CBI raids started at 6 AM in morning and continued till evening. It was revealed that there is a huge difference in weights, price etc of material being sent out of J&K through the railways and coming from outside states. Not only this, many couriers were found with some other goods with mention of some other stuff. CBI officials said that only after completion of investigation, the facts will be revealed.
