STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: The Crime Branch of J&K Police on Wednesday produced charge-sheet against three accused persons in cheating and forgery case in the CJM Court at Samba for judicial determination.CB Official said that Crime Branch Jammu produced charge sheet against, Ashok Kumar, son of Sita Ram, resident of Gudwal, Tehsil Vijaypur, Samba, Rajesh Kumar Sharma, son of Roop Lal, resident of Ward No. 2, H.No.46, Tehsil Vijaypur, Samba and Thakur Dass, son of late Sant Ram, resident of Gudwal, Tehsil Vijaypur, Samba in case FIR No 05/2020 under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 201, 120-B IPC.“Crime Branch Jammu produced charge-sheet against aforesaid land grabbers for their involvement in hatching conspiracy and selling out a piece of 7 Marlas land belonging to the complainant after preparing a false and fictitious agreement to sell it,” CB official said.“A written complaint was lodged by Tara Singh, son of Randir Singh, resident of Vijaypur, Samba in Crime Branch Jammu, alleging therein that the accused persons are involved in a criminal conspiracy of grabbing his land and also the land belonging innocent land owners of the area,’ official said adding that on receipt of the complaint a preliminary enquiry was initiated by Crime Branch Jammu.During the course of enquiry, official said, the allegations were prima-facie substantiated against the accused persons, leading to registration of the instant criminal case against the accused persons.During the course of investigation, CB official said, documentary/oral evidence was collected and offences under Section 420, 465, 468, 471, 120-B IPC was proved against aforesaid accused persons Ashok Kumar and Thakur Dass while offences under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 201, 120-B IPC against accused Rajesh Kumar Sharma have been proved.
