JAMMU: Assuring all support to owner of Krishna Dhaba in restoration of business in Kashmir, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) asked its Jammu and Kashmir Chapter to actively coordinate with authorities and ensure secure dignified reopening of Iconic Vegetarian “Krishna Dhaba” in Kashmir at the earliest.Addressing a press conference after handing over the condolence message from Delhi to the bereaved family, Neeraj Anand, National Vice President, CAIT said, “We cannot allow forces inimical to peace to win. Though we understand that Mehra Family can never be compensated for the loss of Young Akash Mehra however we appeal to Government on behalf of the Mehra Family and business Community that sister of departed Akash Mehra be given a Government Job. She is well qualified Engineer with MBA Degree.”Neeraj Anand was accompanied by CAIT Jammu office bearers, President, Dhaba Association, besides Abrar Tareen, from CAIT, Srinagar Chapter and his team.Abrar condemned the killing of Akash Mehra and asked the authorities to nab the culprit.“On behalf of Kashmir’s business community we have come to share your grief besides we assure Mehra Family that Kashmir belongs to them as much as to us, Whenever they feel comfortable to return, CAIT Kashmir chapter and entire business community would be there to welcome them back in business, said Abrar after paying condolences to the family at their Jammu residence.Neeraj Anand reassured the Mehra Family that if need arises CAIT Jammu will send its team along with them to help restart business. Neeraj Anand added that we strongly trust our brothers in Trade from Valley and have no hesitation to claim that business community of valley will act as first line of defense for the businessmen from minority communities. Such target killing is condemnable by one and all across the J&K, he said.“I am leaving for Delhi day after to meet higher authorities and CAIT shall ensure that security of vulnerable businessmen in Valley is reviewed at the highest level so that such untoward incidents are not repeated ,” he added.
