SRINAGAR: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Ghulam Hassan Rather, former Power Development Commissioner and brother of former legislator and Apni Party district President Anantnag Abdul Rahim Rather, who passed away at his residence at Hyderpora in district Srinagar.In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the deceased as a thorough gentleman who was known for his administrative acumen in the department besides his humility and compassionate behavior among the people and his vast social circles.The Apni Party President expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, especially his party colleague Abdul Rahim Rather, relatives, friends and acquaintances of the deceased.
