BSP pays tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar

JAMMU: J&K BSP unit paid tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar on his death anniversary in a function held at Party Head Office in Jammu. Describing life history of Dr Ambedkar, Somraj Majotra, President J&K unit said that Dr Ambedkar, who sacrificed his whole life to fight for the legitimate rights of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes , OBCs, women and other minorities in India, cannot be left unsung in Indian history. It was the inspiration of the ideology of Dr Ambedkar, that Kanshi Ram floated a new political Party, BSP in 1984, he added. Majotra said that it was Dr Ambedkar who could bring modern social setup based on equality and brotherhood. He described Dr Ambedkar as a world level social reformer. He said sacrifices of Dr Ambedkar are to be remembered and new generations should be made aware of the work done by this great socio -political leader. Impact of his work is still live in the hearts of crores of downtrodden people of India. He said Dr Ambedkar has died but his ideology is still alive and motivating the people of deprived sections.
On this occasion, all the workers pledged to follow the path shown by Dr Ambedkar and strengthen the BSP in J&K.
