BSF committed to provide assistance to border dwellers: DIG BSF

KATHUA: A free medical camp was organised by 173 Bn Border Security Forces (BSF) at border village Londi of Kathua District. DIG BSF Hari Lal inaugurated the medical camp while Surinder Singh Rathore, Commandant of 173 Bn BSF, 2 IC Gurinder Singh, BDC Chairman Ramlal Kaliya and Sarpanch Devraj Sharma were also present. A team of BSF doctors, Dr. Rekha Varma, D/C SMO along with Dr. G S Sudan AC/MO of BSF, carried out medical checkup of villagers from bordering area and medicines were also distributed to them. A large number of elderly besides youth and kids also turned up to take the benefit of the medical Camp through this Civic Action programme. On this occasion DIG BSF Hari Lal reiterated that BSF is fully committed for assistance to the local people, specially at bordering areas. During the camp a total of 250 local Civilians having different ailments were treated and provided with medicines by the Border Security Forces (BSF) which was heartily appreciated by local population.
