Ramnagar: Ramnagar town to observe shutdown on Tuesday in wake of increasing bovine smuggling. However, protests were held on Monday evening against SDPO Ramnagar. Members of various organizations under the banner of Hindu Jagran Manch staged protest against SDPO Ramnagar and burnt effigy of the officer. They alleged that SDPO Ramnagar is in hand in gloves with smugglers which led to increase in bovine smuggling in town and its peripheral. Irked over the inaction of SDPO Ramnagar, organizations have called for shutdown in Ramnagar on Tuesday which is being supported Chamber Of Commerce Ramnagar, Bus, Matador, Auto, Rehri unions and all citizens of Ramnagar.
