REASI: Police on Monday nabbed a bootlegger and recovered 22 bottles of liquor from his possession.
As per details, at around 1730 hrs, a party of Police Station Arnas and Police Check Post Dharmari laid a surprise Naka at Dhaman and apprehended a person namely Balbir Singh, son of Vijay Ram, resident of Mahore who tried to ran away from the spot. Acting promptly, police apprehended the aforesaid person and during checking, 22 bottles of illicit liquor were found from his possession. On this, an instant case vide FIR No. 4/21 under section 48(A) Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station Arnas.
