UDHAMPUR: BJP will emerge as triumphant in Udhampur DDC elections as it is proving its adoration by winning the faith of common people nationally,” former MLC and Election Incharge Udhampur, Ch. Vikram Randhawa said. He added that the people of Udhampur express strong belief in the policies of BJP.Randhawa was addressing various public meetings in Jaganoo, here in an effort to seek support for BJP’s candidate Parikshat Singh in DDC elections.The response from the general public was inordinate, he said adding that people showed faith in the Party for ground level efforts for the betterment of the public.While addressing the gatherings, Randhawa assured people that their issues will always be the priority for the Party workers.He felt contented on receiving profuse appreciation from the public for abrogation of Article 370.It is only after this abrogation that DDC elections are being conducted in J&K, which will definitely strengthen democracy at grassroot level, he said.The people attended the meetings in good number and conveyed gratitude towards Modi Govt for being the feeding hand during COVID-19 lockdown.On the occasion, Pawan Gupta (Ex-minister), Sarpanchs, Panchs and party leaders were present.Elder and senior citizens actively participated in the meetings and thanked the Modi Govt for providing them basic assistance in the form of pensions or other benefits.Randhawa seemed well pleased with the success of BJP in Udhampur DDC elections.In the end, he said, “BJP did, BJP does and BJP will do every exertion for the welfare of people and the nation.”
