STATE TIMES NEWSRAMBAN: Asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party is working to deliver social justice in all the corners of the UT of J&K, former MLA Ramban Neelam Langeh said that the party is keen for the upliftment of economically weaker sections of the society.He said this during interaction with locals at Gool Sangaldan area of Ramban district where he conducted a daylong whirlwind tour on Sunday.BJP Minority Morcha District President Ramban Mohd Ali Sohil and District General Secretary Mohammad Sayeed Dar and other workers accompanied the former legislator during the tour.Langeh said that BJP’s core ideology is to provide succor to the downtrodden by way of providing all the essentials at their doorsteps and giving equal opportunities to all irrespective of their caste, creed or colour and the economic status. He said that BJP Government has ensured that the development projects realized in the UT of J&K are evenly distributed so that both urban and the rural population gets equivalent benefits.The senior BJP leader said that the party has taken up so many development projects in the UT of J&K that exclusively will benefit rural hamlets that were earlier kept aloof under the successive governments. He said that party stands for the social justice and no community under BJP government can say even a word against the helmsmen for any kind of prejudice.“The development which the government has carried out is colossal and there is dire need that party workers go out full throttle to strengthen party base at the grassroots level by telling the people on ground the difference between BJP and other parties. It is necessary to expose the opposition parties in the UT by discussing their self-centered stances that ruined the erstwhile state of J&K politically as well as financially”, he said, adding that the responsibility of bolstering the party lies with the ground level workers therefore staunch activists are real force of the party.On the eve of International Yoga Day, the former MLA appealed to the people of the area to adopt Yoga in their day today life to be physically healthy and mentally fit.The people of Gool Sangaldan area expressed gratitude to the Member Parliament Dr Jitendra Singh for extending all possible support amidst Covid pandemic. They also expressed gratitude to the former MLA Neelam Lanegh for his assistance during the pandemic.Later, the former MLA also listened to the issues of the people and vowed to resolve them on priority by projecting the same at the concerned quarters of the government. He also appealed to the Lt Governor to grant adequate funds for constructing Dagantop to Ramakund road which is a tourist spot and has the potential to increase the footfall of the tourists.
