Billawaria starts work for lanes, drains in Ward 56


JAMMU: BJP leader and former Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chairman Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the work of lane and drain in Ward 56 Gangyal of Gandhi Nagar constituency today after following the COVID guidelines and norms.
Billawaria said that the long pending demand of people has been met at a cost of around Rs 10 lakh.
He said that construction work of this old demand is being done by the Jammu Municipal Corporation. The locals expressed their gratitude to Billawaria for the long pending demand of the area.
Billawaria said that as a representative of the people, every promise made to the people is being fulfilled and the smallest street in the area is being constructed. Billawaria said that during his tenure as a Jammu Municipal Corporation Chairman, he has given a new direction to cleanliness.
The main objective of the BJP party is to ensure the development work of every region equally with complete sincerity and the BJP government has worked for the last man of the last mile. He said that development works worth crores took place in Gangyal and the area has emerged as a modern ward.
Billawaria said that the agenda of the BJP is development and that they are true soldiers of the BJP can never leave this agenda behind.
He further said that due to Corona, the chariot of development will not stop and public works will be done in a time bound manner. He asked people to follow all administrative guidelines on COVID-19 and to keep the surroundings clean with homes in their area amid the growing outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
Billawaria said that BJP J&K activists have been engaged in the service of the people since the beginning discharging their duties to the society as a responsible citizen amid the Corona epidemic.
Ranjit Singh, Dev Raj Sharma, Romi Singh, Prem Sharma, Pankaj Singh, Mohan Lal, Pawandeep Singh, Satpal Sharma, Prem Kumar, Girdhari Lal were also present on the occasion.
