JAMMU: Accelerating his public service campaign and development works, the Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria inaugurated construction of lanes and drains in Sector 3, Ward No. 56 Gangyal of Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency.Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that work is being done to fulfill promises made with people before municipal elections. He further said all pending development works would also be completed in the area. Expressing gratitude towards for their love and support, Billawaria alleged that there was competition for corruption during previous governments in erstwhile J&K State. But right from the day, Narendra Modi Government has taken over the reins in center, there is competition for development. “Modi Government at the Center is constantly working to provide better facilities to general public. As a BJP worker, I always try to reach every nook and corner of every ward of Jammu city for resolving issues faced by people. Jammu people have shown confidence in BJP during DDC elections and same is required in upcoming assembly elections for continuation of benefits of development and public welfare schemes by Modi Government,” he asserted, adding that in upcoming assembly elections, we will go among people on basis of development works.Billawaria further said that Jammu Municipal Corporation is working at every level to provide all basic facilities to general public. Others present on the occasion included Ranjit Singh, Abhinandan Sharma, Durga Choudhary, Om Nath, Jugal Kishore, Pandit Rajkumar, Dr Kharu, Hardeep Singh, Mulkh Raj, Ashok Pandita, Harvinder Singh and Dr Sunny Dhar.
