Billawaria dedicates 250 KVA transformer to public at Ward-73


JAMMU: Coping up with long pending demand of inhabitants of Ward No 73, BJP senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria dedicated a newly installed transformer to public at Roohi Morh, Gadi Garh, Ward No. 73, falling under Gandhi Nagar constituency on Thursday. A number of locals and BJP workers were present on the occasion. The transformer installed in the area is of 250 KVA capacity and will cater to needs of inhabitants. The total cost incurred on it is about Rs 8 lakh and has been installed to provide relief to people in scorching summers. The work included setting-up of pipe poles, wiring, setting of a new station and other accessories.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that it was indeed a long pending demand of locals and the same has been met for providing major relief to inhabitants, as earlier installed transformer was of low capacity and caused major disruption including low voltage and frequent power-cuts. He further stated that this won’t be a problem anymore as new transformer installed is of high capacity and will run smoothly without any disruption. He said BJP is committed to working for masses and believes in agenda of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas’. He also appreciated efforts of PDD for looking into the problems of people on priority and said that other wards of Gandhi Nagar constituency, where power problem persists, are also on priority and with the help of department, issued would be resolves soon.
Mandal President Bharat Bhushan, Ward 73 incharge BJP Mohit Raina, Hardev Singh, Mandeep Chaudhary, Raju Sharma and Lucky Manhas were also present on the occasion.
