BDC honours NSS volunteer for outstanding performance in RD Parade

UDHAMPUR: Bhaskar Degree College (BDC) Udhampur on Saturday honoured NSS volunteer for her outstanding performance in different co circular activities in college.
Shilpa Sharma a student of 5th semester had participated in Republic Day Parade 2021 organised by Government of India, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and Directorate of NSS, New Delhi. Collage management honoured her for her prestigious participation in different events. With her participation in RD parade one more feather got added in college’s cap. It is pertinent to mention that she was the only female NSS Volunteer from Jammu province to participate in the R.D Parade 2021 under the guidance and support of NSS coordinator assistant Prof Pinaki Bakshi. She also presented Dogra culture in Ambedkar Bhawan in the closing ceremony of “YUVAAH” and performed ample of cultural activities in the camp. She also had an interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other ministers including Kiren Rijiju and Smriti Irani at New Delhi during her participation.
