JAMMU: A meeting of Pradesh Working Committee of Bhartiya Atal Sena Rastarwadi (BASR) Jammu was held in Jammu under leadership of Suresh Gupta wherein it was decided to celebrate birthday of Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India on 25th December, 2020 with great enthusiasm. The organisation also decided to observe week-long welfare programme for the overall welfare of society from December 21, 2020 to December 27, 2020. During the week, 7 programmes will be organised, i.e., commencing of Yoga, spending time with old-age people at Old Age Home, distribution of fruits in Bal Ashram Amphalla, planting trees, distribution of Herbal tea (Kadha), conducting acupressure camps at old-age homes and distribution of masks etc. During the deliberation, the organisation criticised politicisation of farmers’ agitation by forces working against country to destabilise it on behest of enemies of the nation. They appealed to the farmers to settle issues amicably through talks across the table with the Government. The members further urged Central Govt to initiate probe against bunglings and corrupt practices of political parties particularly NC, PDP and Congress. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by President, Suresh Gupta who advised the members to work wholeheartedly for welfare of people.The members who attended the meeting included Tirth Singh Slathia, Tejinder Vohra, Isher Dass, Ankur Mahajan, Prof Sudhanshu Dewedi, Arun Kumar Gupta, Vimal Dev Singh, Mohal Lal Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, Sanjay Poddar, Prem Kumar Gutkar, Baldev Singh, Swarna Devi, Swami Raj, Krishan Lal, Adhikar Padha, Ajay Gupta, Munish Gupta and Rahul Sharma.
