BASR celebrates Foundation Day, pays tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee



JAMMU: To celebrate its Foundation Day and birthday of former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Bharatiya Atal Sena Rashtravadi (BASR), J&K held a function at Bal Ashram (Niketan) Ved Mandir, Amphalla and performed Yagya Havan along with children of Bal Niketan. The organisation distributed fruits, Halwa Prasad and biscuits among children. The Havan was attended by a number of eminent citizens to pay homage and tributes to great leader.
While addressing participants, President BASR, Suresh Gupta spoke about the contributions and life-history of great leader, who always worked for the people of country and was known for good governance. Gupta requested people to come forward for eradicating social evils like corruption, Polythene, drugs, crime against women, casteism etc. He further said that the organisation would continue to work for welfare of people and appealed to people to spare their time for working on social platforms to help people and needy.
Others present on the occasion included Tejinder Vohra, Prof Sudhakar Diwedi, Arun Kumar Gupta, Isher Dass, Narinder Gupta, Sanjay Poddar, Prem Bhagat, Meena Dutta, Anita, Adhikar Padha, Munish Gupta, Ashwani Kaw and Munish Gupta.
